Looks like fun, feels like fun, is fun!
Therapy looks different for each young person depending on the assessment outcomes.
This may entail any one or combination of 1:1 therapy in our purpose-built clinics, group therapy, school-based therapy, or teletherapy providing remote and rural support.
However, there is always one common element to all therapy at OTFC, and that is – fun!
Play is the occupation of a young person which is why our therapy leads to positive outcomes and life changing impact.
OTFC approach
At OTFC we use Ayres Sensory Integration® (ASI) Therapy approach to guide our Therapy. Our therapists follow ASI® guidelines to make sure the therapy we provide is effective and focused on clear goals. OTFC therapists engage in ongoing professional development which is targeted towards a therapeutic approach that adheres to best occupational therapy practice guidelines.
While ASI® is the core of our therapy, we also use other evidence-based frameworks and strategies to ensure your young person’s development and independence is supported.
